Afrodite is a masterpiece of Italian craftsmanship. Elegant and luxurious, this bar globe is enriched with gold leaf finishes applied entirely by hand by our master craftsmen.

The majestic structure, made entirely of Toulipier plated wood mahogany lacquered, adds a touch of elegance and luxury to the most fancy interiors and to all lovers of precious things. The top opens to reveal a large bar compartment that comfortably accommodate up to 6/8 bottles and approx. 16 glasses, to serve your best spirits to all your friends.

The sphere, whose map is a faithful reproduction of the 16th century, rotates entirely around its meridian both in the open and closed position. Thanks to the hidden wheels, it can be easily moved to any room in the house.

The bar accessories shown in the photos (bottles and glasses) are not included.

Application of 22-karat gold leaf

The Afrodite bar globe is handmade by our expert craftsmen. The application of the gold leaf is a work of extreme precision: it needs a lot of care and precision in all the processing steps.

We start brushing a glue emulsion on the wooden components such as the base, equatorial circle, columns and knob. Afterwards, we cut the 22-karat gold leaf and proceed with the application to the wood parts. This step may take long time between one phase and another as it requires a dry room with no air changes.

Once spread it, we fix it to obtain the special warm gold finish, releasing the globe with a precious light.
